More Nations Are Reaching and Exceeding 5% Market Share for GNU/Linux, Microsoft Wants to be Bailed Out Again
THIS month's statCounter numbers or underlying data serve to reveal more nations where GNU/Linux is gradually growing, typically at Microsoft's expense. This helps explain why, as The Register pointed out a few days ago, Vista 11's market share goes down this year (they abuse users, who in turn abandon Windows altogether).
Here's Bahrain entering the "5% club" (not just "4% club"):
Microsoft has had a "crisis week" with many mass layoffs, putting in doubt the future of XBox as a whole (sales down 25% in the UK) and stemming a pair of media distractions ("DOOM" and "mobile gaming").
Microsoft is once again reaching out to Biden for a bailout - a subject we'll cover in a video some time this weekend. █
