Expect Lots of Material From Daniel Pocock as Election Day Nears
EMERITUS Debian Developer Daniel Pocock (Free Software Fellowship) is running for MEP in Ireland and he plans to show some more Debian blunders, based on original communications. He also plans to publish/share material related to his political campaign.
We generally need more MEPs who have a background in technology. I spoke to some MEPs like these, but they're still very few and they tend to be drowned out (or elbowed aside) by sinister lawyers who take bribes and entertain "lobbyists".
The experiences of Daniel Pocock were an excellent example of reprisal or retribution against either whistleblowers or people who give a voice to whistleblowers (MEPs seldom do this).
As a former representative of Fellows in the FSFE, and as someone who supported women who had suffered abuse from men (like the German men who still run the FSFE), he'd make a decent MEP.
Watch this space. Much more to come. █
