In Most Countries It's Still Possible Not to Have a 'Smartphone' and to Pay for Nearly Everything With Cash
Withdrawing money will be possible as long as enough people use many ATMs (cash machines) and visit the physical branches, not Web sites (JavaScript for 'self-service') and "apps"
Cashless society is a hopeless society. It's an antisocial "society" where even any item of food which goes through your body (or you chew, or goes down your throat) gets catalogues and then sold to "data brokers", hoping to 'monetise' such "valuable" (the new gold/oil they say) information.
Over the years I did many videos about the "war on cash" and why it's wise to avoid "modern" or "smart" phones. I don't want to make any more articles/videos about this unless new information emerges or something important arises.
"Cashless" is not a good thing. Shaming people for lacking something is one thing. Glorifying the lack of something (cash-less) is outright idiotic. Here in the UK, based on the mainstream media, the use of cash actually increased in recent years. People vote with their wallets, even literally. In the case of public transport, buying tickets with cash is still possible, albeit purchasing an airline ticket requires some kind of ID (that's understandable).
Those who tell us that cash will just "go away" or "disappear" are playing psychological games, akin to self-fulfilling prophecies. Don't listen to them. Don't do what they tell you, even when they claim it is inevitable. █
