StatCounter (or statCounter) Has Mostly Recovered From a Day's Downtime (Malfunction)
So yesterday we noticed that StatCounter (or statCounter) had 'coredumped' and could not deliver any numbers, graphics, raw data etc. We waited until today before reporting the issue [1, 2], assuming perhaps they would fix it by morning time (Monday).
Is it back up now?
Mostly.
There are still some deficiencies, such as a lack of overview (with numbers) below.
They'll probably fix that sooner or later. No statement (or press release) has been made since 6 years ago. Maybe the downtime was explained in some other avenue. Maybe E-mail.
Some of the material we've published based on the statCounter datasets truly annoys Microsofters, so we know that it's effective and worth pursuing further. It makes it harder for Microsoft to lie about a bunch of things. █
