Thanking Solderpunk for 5 Years of Gemini Protocol
In some parts of the world Gemini Protocol is already "five" (5). Maybe not in wherever (whatever country) Solderpunk, who pioneered Gemini Protocol, is based (most likely CET). It's exceptionally hard to find information about him other than self-disclosing toots revealing that he's around Germany and sometimes in Sweden.
Gemini Protocol is an international thing; it's not a "European" thing anymore, even if many adopters (especially early adopters) of Gemini Protocol are based in Europe.
Solderpunk's gemlog (like "weblog" or "blog" but over Gemini Protocol) and personal capsule say a little bit about him. He prefers privacy if not solitude (he went offline last month) and he deserves much gratitude.
Thank you, Solderpunk!
He hasn't yet written anything about the anniversary of his "baby" (Gemini), but regardless, many words of thanks are overdue to him for what he created! It helped simplify the Net. He broadened our reach to many geeks. Some of them base their articles in Gemini on what we publish here.
Long live Gemini Protocol and long live Solderpunk! █
