The Linux Foundation's Utter Negligence (or Abandonment) of Linux.com Illustrated With One Screenshot
The front page
The Linux Foundation turned a very potent site into a spamfarm without substance. Under the Linux Foundation, following the layoffs of all staff in 2019, this is what we have in 2024 (the stuff in red rectangles is 2023):
Almost all the "new" (2024) items aren't articles but merely a link to the Linux Foundation's Web site, basically trying to sell something (and typically pushing proprietary software). All the text that the Linux Foundation added to Linux.com this year (all combined) is possibly a few hundreds of words. That's it. One would imagine that the Linux Foundation is broke, defunct, or simply doesn't like (maybe doesn't care about) Linux. █
