Remember Which "Linux" Companies Enabled Microsoft's Sabotage (Remotely, Without User Intervention) of Millions of GNU/Linux PCs
Collaborators and facilitators included Canonical, too.
Reminder: GNOME (IBM/Red Hat Staff) Promoting Microsoft's 'Security' Scam With the 'Secure' Boot Sham
We're still patiently waiting for the Linux Foundation, FSF, OSI etc. to issue a statement about this truly colossal and historic incident*. It can happen again. Some blowback is very much necessary.
Is it a CoC violation to complain about one's machine getting vandalised without consent when the saboteur bribes and occupies the enforcer?
_____
* In a nutshell, Red Hat helped Microsoft boot-lock PCs, and later on Canonical joined the same with Ubuntu. So a lot of derivatives of Ubuntu (later Debian as well) and Fedora suddenly required Microsoft's permission to boot on PCs owned not by Microsoft. It didn't take long for Microsoft to prevent users booting their operating system of choice, just as many warned all along (insisting this would happen).
