Notice who keeps nudging this towards politics.
As an associate put it, an IBM-sponsored publisher "parrots falsehoods from those attempting to wrest control of the graphical UI stack away from FOSS teams" (same as what IBM has been saying).
IBM et al and Microsoft Lunduke try to drag us towards politics, i.e. further away from what really matters.
We already compared the tactics of Rust People to Wayland People's tactics. As the associate put it, "Rust is not about memory safety, it is not about improved coding, it is about getting the government(s) to ban C and through that ban senior developers. Similar but not quite the same applies to SBOMs... tldr; Rust is a power grab" (controlled by Microsoft in GitHub, which is proprietary and unsafe). █
