They would likely not bother had those discussions not hurt IBM's management

The site TheLayoff.com is being undermined by trolls. It's not a new problem. The misuse of chatbots, however, is a bit newer. Finally! A use case! Trolling!

Nice slop you got there!

Slop or fake: watsonx Platform: Launched in 2023, this enterprise AI and data platform enables businesses to train, tune, and deploy AI models, including foundational models.

That was minutes ago. It seems to be reducible to one person or one relatively new "Group".

Cheaply made trolling that vexes and wastes everyone's time (or the will to read real comments), as relates to: 1) IBM Has a Long and Rich History of Showing Chatbots Bear No Business Prospects (From Jeopardy to Watson Healthcare and McDonalds) and 2) IBM is Collapsing, the People Responsible for the Collapse Aren't the Victims
