Police say Ann Widdecombe killed in 'targeted attack' as motive investigated

A British politician and television personality was in effect assassinated less than a week ago and we already have a history of journalists being assassinated for writing about and covering crime on television. There are high-profile examples.

Last week and yesterday I saw in person staff of the firm connected to death threats I had received and reported to the police. Never did I receive apologies for that. Nor did my wife.

A decision on the matter of the hearing will be issued later this month. I won't comment until then. █
