Microsoft Windows Causes Problems (and Delays) to LibreOffice and The Document Foundation
The Document Foundation (TDF) recently adopted an identity (as can be seen in the announcement of it) and TDF had made more blog posts - or whole blogs - about ODF and standards. It stresses the importance of open, free standards.
Without talking about freedom or autonomy, we'd mindless focus on brands, not basic principles.
4 days ago Italo Vignoli (strong ODF proponent) wrote: "the release of LibreOffice 26.8.1 has been a bit of a struggle, firstly due to a series of minor issues with the packaging of the Windows version..."
Nothing would please Microsoft more than Windows curtailing the development of LibreOffice and adoption of ODF. █
