AS PART of our special week's coverage on software patents we now turn our attention to this recent TEDxAlbany talk from Mark Menard (November 2010). We may not agree with all of his points, but it is a relevant talk and it is quite recent.

As a secondary item, consider this guy's show which is really quite good and deserves more exposure (he occasionally but not regularly covers GNU/Linux issues). Here he is addressing the subject of software patents. He will hopefully become a regular in TechBytes.
