THANKS to those who are helping us with Cablegate. An hour or so ago we asked a question about Econoff and soon afterwards found out that it's an unnamed economic officer, who is referred to not as a collective but a person (this was stated in one Web page). It is interesting to see what role government plays in promoting Microsoft's agenda. The term Econoff is mentioned a lot when one lobbies for interests of Microsoft.

The plan is a strategy of one-at-a-time, as at some stage we'll turn to other subjects and go through them one by one, e.g. cables about open source.
