THE video above is a response to Ryan's rant about what the Web has become and what so-called 'communities' have become (corporations looking for people willing to work for them for free).

This subject has struck a nerve because in the age of centralised social control networks we've been seeing lots of this and the agenda unravels while more people flock outwards, perhaps because they belatedly realise that their efforts were simply "farmed" by somebody else.

To use the "means of production" analogy, people need to seize control over their data, their sites (or capsules or some other online presence), and digital life in general. ⬆
