Mozilla and Firefox Are Intentionally Failing to Stand for the Open Web
AS per W3Schools (screenshot at the bottom of this page), Firefox is on the route/trajectory to nowhere. Platitudes and lies about "privacy" and other false promises won't fool enough gullible Web users.
Firefox is basically a dying Web browser, victim or casualty of the company that became its "Sugar Daddy". Some people will become very rich from this sellout, but Firefox will die. It is rapidly and steadily losing share while the salary of its boss keeps growing and growing (is it 5 million dollars per year yet? Wait for IRS to release more forms). As Mozilla is controlled by Google (financially), Firefox has failed to protect the Open Web. Instead it adopted all sorts of proprietary and DRM schemes primarily or originally promoted by Google et al. There are decent alternatives. Give them a try. The more market share those alternatives gain, the better off the Web will be. There are many lesser-known options and they work fine with this site. █
