Microsoft's Revenue From the Desktop/Laptop/Device Market Continues to Fall, Now for Over a Year in a Row (This Time Down 10%, Income Even Worse)
The media talks about "the cloud"
THE so-called 'results' are out and the media is talking about "hey hi" (AI) and "clown computing", but that's a deliberate distraction with buzzwords. They don't even mean anything; a lot of the 'growth' is just rebranding, re-classification, falsification, and Microsoft buying from itself.
Microsoft (MSFT) shares are DOWN today. Tom Warren, a Microsoft booster* whom we mentioned a day ago, wrote: "Microsoft did warn that devices revenue would decline against this quarter, and it’s down 9 percent. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said “PC market unit volumes were at roughly pre-pandemic levels,” so it’s likely that Surface simply hasn’t recovered as well. That’s despite Microsoft launching its new Surface Laptop Studio 2, Surface Laptop Go 3, and even a Surface Go 4 late last year. Microsoft’s devices revenue also includes HoloLens and PC accessories, and revenue has been declining for more than 12 months now." So there you go, not too positive. █

* As usual, like with Peter Bright, Microsoft feeds to its media operatives (moles) "good news" ahead of time just to ensure it can control the narrative and distract from all the bad things, such as the nugget above.
Microsoft's decades-long mole Ina Fried is already posting fake news about fake Microsoft "results". Microsoft media moles doing this type of spin isn't unprecedented. it's just the usual. Over the next few days we'll focus on what they're trying to hide.
