Atlantic Works has had a profound impact on the development of patent monopoly law, particularly in shaping the doctrine of obviousness, but more generally providing theoretical frameworks for attacking “bad patents.” As discussed below, I believe the case also provides some early insight into the new Hey Hi (AI) inventorship dilemma.
The case addressed the validity of a patent monopoly granted to Edwin L. Brady for an improved dredge boat design. The Supreme Court ultimately reversed the lower court’s decision upholding the patent monopoly and found instead that Brady’s claimed invention lacked novelty and did not constitute a patentable advance over the prior art.

Techdirt ☛ Take-Two Interactive Opposes New Logo For Business Partner Remedy Entertainment Over ‘R’
Take-Two Interactive has already established itself as an IP bully. There are plenty of examples of this from the past several years, but my favorite remains the company’s opposition of a trademark for Rockstar Axe Throwing merely because it had the name “Rockstar” in it. No concern was given to how similar the logos and names in total were, nor the simple fact that the axe-throwing industry and the video game industry aren’t terribly related to one another.

My pain in the last few months has been a lot and that has meant i've been able to do less and less. today especially i am feeling really isolated from the world.
even leaving my room is a lot of energy so i have seen the outside of my room. once today? when i got breakfast.
right now with many of my online friends asleep due to timezones, and the ones who aren't asleep due to timezones are busy. and i feel really alone!

Welp I find myself with a bunch of books again, this time on what? numerology, occultism, Tarot, the I Ching, Carl Gustav Jung, Niklas Luhmann, systems theory, and a sundry on classical Greek society and science. Okay, I am not going to read half of these, but I have a nice selection to peruse from. I've already disposed of a few, and yet others.... Well, I added some old topics like computer arithmetic and number theory; starting to see a pattern here?
