GAFAM and IBM don't want the real guardian of the GPL (or copyleft) to do well.

FSF losses

2020-2023 income: -$659,756, -$349,927, -$227,857, and -$686,366, respectively.

They are not greedy:

FSF salaries are modest, unlike SFC (about 4 times higher)
