The tao that can be stated/told/described is not the eternal Tao
If words could "go there", the would have long ago. At best might they trigger the oft alluded to notionless "inseeing", *but* an inhalation of verbiage any deeper than the slightest "hit" risks inducing a "clinging" (to the words/notions) guaranteed to drown out the possibility of said "inseeing".

I can write it, jotting on the blog tonight, hold on
Jotting on paper these days, tbh. I wrote a thing just now, 855 words, under 20 minutes, and I won't self promote, but holy s*** I am surprised at myself! Ha! Wrote the words WELL, too! It's clear, concise, and going back and editing a moment later, only two corrections and three typos. Sorry for the low brag.

No LoRaWAN in the near future
I stopped following this plan for now and the near future. I wanted to send a Gemini page to my Gemini server but it seems to be not the right tool for this. The LoRaWAN gateway for outdoors, which I planned to buy, is also very expensive with the shipping and handling costs (around 320 EUROs).
When I did my research I found out, that it can/should only be used to send small amounts of data like sensor or GPS data. It's not meant for sending files. There are possibilities for that but it's clearly not intended for that. And I don't want to build up a complete LoRaWAN gateway completely with ChirpStack just to send file for ROOPHLOCH.

Gemini plugin for KOReader
Announcing a Gemini client for KOReader, implemented as a plugin. If you ever wanted to browse Gemini on an e-book reader, or want to now you come to think of it, here's your chance!
This is a first release, tested only on a couple of Kobo devices (thanks crynick). All the essential features are there, including client certificate support. It should be straightforward to install.

A Deep Dive into the World of the OpenEarth Foundation: 5-minute Summary
OK so the full essay is pretty freakin' long, and a friend smartly suggested a bite-sized version would be good - and they're right, so here it is :)

* Gemini (Primer) links can be opened using Gemini software. It's like the World Wide Web but a lot lighter.
