Who Is This Backup FOR, the NSA?
Background: Microsoft and the NSA
New:
Admfubar has just brought this up in IRC, having noticed it in Slashdot, which links to this pro-Microsoft and pro-Windows site. This site does not seem to be amused and in recent years this site habitually covers some GNU/Linux stuff.
So after "Recall" (which not a single GNU/Linux vendor bothered to even talk about) we have another privacy 'gaffe', right? They call those "backups", but if you didn't ask for any backups, then who are these for? Who gets those backups other than Microsoft and the NSA?
No wonder many people seem to be deleting Vista 11 and its market share seems to be going down, not up.
As Admfubar put it, "backups for everyone..."
psydruid said, "we will take your data hostage by ANY means." █
