Yes, Master
Gaslighting by actual racists.
About half a decade ago some companies including IBM and Microsoft told us that the word "Master" has a negative connotation or had a bad association (even if IBM had "coined" that in "tech"). Many people fired back and over the years we showed that IBM and Microsoft continued using the word "Master". Here in the UK the Judges in the High Court can also be called "Masters". That's not offending anyone that I've ever met.
I personally have this theory about "concern-trolling" by G[I]AFAM (where "I" can be IBM or Intel; Intel too played a considerable role in this) as their front groups like the Linux Foundation tried to distract from very big issues using petty issues that didn't really bother anybody. They paid the media to play along with a false narrative (perception matters) and shame/humiliate people who disagreed.
See, for G[I]AFAM to literally kill people (for profit) is perfectly OK and for Microsoft GitHub to facilitate I.C.E. is fine, as long as the Git branch names do not include "master" (by default). Microsoft's Nat Friedman can shamelessly write nice-sounding blog posts about terminology while covering up for his friend who strangles women and engages in copyright plunder.
