Windows Now Measured at Less Than 5% "Market Share" in 16 Nations, Android Exceeds 70% in 41 Nations

The sister site has a new list of "Countries Where GNU/Linux Adoption is Higher Than the International Average (4.4%)". A similar list can be retrieved and simple analysis done for all device types, showing the following countries as exceeding 70% "market share" for Android:

In the following small nations Windows is measured at 0%: Bermuda, Niue, Tokelau, American Samoa, and Christmas Island.

In American states adoption of GNU/Linux is relatively high. Even more so in Asia.

GNU/Linux is fast approaching 5%.

"Usage is creeping up very slowly but progress is made," an associate has said. "Still it is the OEM barrier which keeps it from breaking through. If the original Asus EEE 701, the one with GNU/Linux, had been allowed to stay on the market it would have changed the whole market in short order."
