It's Okay To Be Common
I was working on a different post today, and I found myself wanting to apologize in it. I was talking about things that I was sure other people have talked abput before, writing a post I am sure other people have written variations of. And my impulse was to add a disclaimer, to apologize for describing my experience, simply because it was one that has been shared before.

sisterhood/recordhood
the reason why i have a lease on life is because of my sisters, who saw me stand tall, who saw me crumple. the dedication to i have to the order is the thing that gives me purpose, that which puts me closer to heaven. the purpose of the order is discipline, faith, and service. by applying my skills to this purpose, i too become a disciplined and faithful sister. by serving as a disciplined and faithful sister, we maintain the order. to maintain the order is to maintain discipline. to maintain the order is to serve. to serve is to find in oneself the records that maintain the order, and the ones that maintain your purpose. trusting in the records is an act of faith.

Public transport should be free everywhere 🚌
This last weekend was a long one (5 days) for us and we went hiking in Luxembourg. We did the Mullerthal trail (Route 1, 2 and 3) which is really beautiful and well maintained.
One of the big things that made is fun to do was the public transport in Luxembourg. It's free for all and available everywhere. Every little town we passed by on the trail had a bus stop with a bus passing atleast once an hour during the day. It made it easy to just hike until tired and then take the bus back to where we started. It was a really popular method of doing the trail too.

Basic Mastodon bots…
Basic Mastodon bots
So I have a couple of Mastodon "bots" (automated accounts). They do not do much. They just watch for newer version of various software and post if something appears. An example being the following which tracks a handful of desktop web browsers: [...]

I have an address
When I moved to Germany, I started using social media again. A long while back I had deleted my presence on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and the rest. However, feeling a need to stay connected to my peers and family while living abroad, I decided to lower the barrier to communication by setting up a new Meta™️ presence.
I've lived in Germany now for 3 years. Instagram appears to be ubiquitous here, with most people asking for your Instagram handle to stay in touch using Instagram's utterly butchered chat system. I've mostly just accepted it at this point. But since I hate everything about Instagram, I have decided to remove it from my phone and check it only periodically on my computer, where I have the ability to block many of its most irritating features.

Setting up my own Gemini Capsule with Docker.
I couldnt find any prebuilt Molly-Brown Containers so i had to build one myself. Thanks to the help of MinimalistWolf on Reddit i got an Example Dockerfile which i had to edit a bit to fit my needs.
