Well, if taxpayers pay to save Intel, then Intel should be publicly owned (by those taxpayers)
In case you missed it, Pat Gelsinger basically got sacked after tricking Biden into bailing out Intel (taxpayers' money poured does the river).
Should Intel be nationalised instead? We covered the collapse of Intel very early on (2021). Firing Gelsinger won't address the core problem. Even shareholders understand that. Doing photo ops with Torvalds is what we'll remember him for. █
