Red Hat's Bluewashing to be Further Completed This Year
Last night: IBM's Chronic Neglect Won't Save Anything and It Might Even Get IBM Sued
Earlier this month (it's mostly about JBoss, acquired and 'redwashed' decades back):
From two threads discussing the above:
The discussions above are very active today. One of the threads is new and 5 hours ago somebody said: "And once you get converted to become IBM's newest lackeys at the Big Blue trough, it's open season on all of you who thought yourselves above the layoff mantra that Alvind and Kavanaugh spin every quarter...it's a race to the bottom as usual. Nothing changes, even for RedHatters."
From what we can gather, IBM is cutting by merging or folding. That may mean loss of jobs. Many layoffs are planned for this year and those cover Red Hat as well because, one one person put it 22 hours, "Red Hat is IBM." Do not wait for some announcement from redhat.com - it's already covered by IBM. Similarly, don't wait for "bing.com layoffs", the media just calls these "Microsoft layoffs". █
