Hoy es mi último día de trabajo en IBM

In English (not automated):

📢Today is my last day of work at IBM. Starting tomorrow, I will take my remaining vacation days until the end of the month, at which point I will officially close this chapter of my professional life.
🙏 I can only offer my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has accompanied me on this long journey over these 39 years. Your professionalism, collaboration, support, and above all the kindness you have always shown me, have made this a very happy experience, where I have learned a lot.
❤️ To all my colleagues, partners, clients, suppliers, agencies, catering, maintenance, Merlin, and especially to my team in the hashtag#IBMInnovationStudio Madrid, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of my days as a big family. See you soon!

📢Today is my last day of work at IBM. Starting tomorrow, I'll enjoy my remaining vacation until the end of the month, when I'll officially close this chapter of my professional life.

🙏I only have words of gratitude for everyone who has accompanied me on this long journey over these 39 years. Your professionalism, collaboration, support, and above all, the affection you've always shown me have made it a very happy experience for me, where I've learned so much.

❤️To all my colleagues, partners, clients, suppliers, agencies, catering, maintenance, Merlin, and especially to my team at the #IBMInnovationStudio in Madrid, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of my life like a big family.

See you soon!

"Last day" does not imply it was voluntary [1, 2].

Based in Spain (not India, Brazil, Mexico, Canada or US like before):

Carmen Torres Villarreal

At IBM since 1987, according to her. She is probably due to retire only about a decade from now.

A lot of layoffs were reported last week and IBM specified a vast range for layoff (RA) scale. Is it 13,500 workers? 27,000? 2,700? Who knows, except IBM's HR (they keep it a secret).

They've since then attempted to change the subject [1, 2] and some insiders claim layoffs might only end (as in pause) this coming weekend [1, 2].

Is it Europe's turn to fall on its sword?
