IBM Has Become a "Plantation"

posted by Roy Schestowitz on Dec 10, 2025

"People who can't create are making money by setting up plantantions in third world countries while using resources from the US. Let's not forget the fact that they are also giving them technology that they did not create. They then install a bunch of skillless corrupt bureaucrats to allow them to do this. These sleazy skillless 'elite' then hire other sleazy people below them to also help them collect more money. Yeah, this is going to last." -Thread regarding Microsoft Corp. layoffs (1 day ago)

Overpaid, as usual: Big Blue’s Big Bet: IBM Buys AI Nervous System for $11B

Hours ago: IBM Says It Buys Another Company for "AI", So Why Does IBM Fire Its Own "AI" Experts?

The latest acquisition of IBM [1, 2, 3] is such a misfit that even some media dares ask hard questions and staff of (or at) IBM is fuming.

This has nothing to do with "AI"; it's about inflating "Revenue" by buying someone else's and improving "Income" or "Profits" by sacking loads of "Expensive" (read: Skilled) people.

IBM is basically being destroyed for some cash at this point. It's like a human being selling his or her own blood for money, or selling one's body.
