Windows is losing market share rapidly. Like IBM, Microsoft learned how to manipulate the media and pretend no layoffs are happening even when they obviously do happen.

We might be witnessing the death of the media. In the US, lately there have been many articles about newsroom layoffs and alarming pieces about how billionaires scoop up the press.

In countries that lack free (and independent) press the important events that the plutocrats don't want anyone to know about will be barely reported, barely visible. Worse yet, there will be gaslighting and deceit, e.g. saying "AI" something when a company sinks deep into debt, then collapses. █
