Social [Control] Media Needs to Die
Earlier today: At Clacton by-election Hustings Event Daniel Pocock Says "Social [Control] Media Has Contributed to Some of the Anti Social Behaviour."

Shown on the top is an old photo, predating COVID-19 by only several months. That's social control media (JoinDiaspora) on the top right. I don't miss it. I am a bit shocked to recall that I wasted a lot of time on it. I should have known better. A year later (2020) I went "write-only", recognising that JoinDiaspora would simply vanish one day (it happened 2 years later) and it could attract abuse, sometimes outweighing any perceived benefits.
People who still waste their lives on this kind of activity need to "touch grass" or recognise how insignificant, especially in the long run, every "tweet" or "Facebook post" or "LinkedIn boast" they've ever emitted really is. █
