You Can Lose Some Battles and Still Win the War
Today the local team fought 'til the end and won. It shows that the fighting spirit is more than a shallow concept or cliché.
Last month it seemed like something came light or something became clearer. Someone had lost because of a toothless (almost invalid) injunction, massive bills that accomplished very little, and a hopeless, meritless case (his friend's) that became a liability, not an asset, to the person invoking it.
Winning or losing isn't something for a scoreboard. It's something to be defined in a multifaceted way. █
