It was particularly nice to see him mention his son, a CS student, who apparently was an important force in getting him to see the importance of the issue. Individual members of the open-source community _can_ really make a difference for the better; of course, his son had the good luck to be in the right family for this particular matter, but still, this shows how widespread the movement is.
