Bonum Certa Men Certa

How to Dismiss One's Opposition or Discredit One's Exposer/s Without Doing or Saying Anything of Substance

It does not rhyme and it does not matter

"Position responsibilities: demolish competition by knowing everything they do and thwarting their every move in the relevant space."

--Microsoft employment ad for a 'Developer Evangelist'

Summary: This is not a poem and it's not intended to be seen or read as such; but there are several subtleties in the message

THEY envy our freedom

Expounded the politician

They want the women, the money, the children... If not, they must me racist

Hypocrites, for sure! Altogether misinformed...

They're bigots, Nazi nationalists Or socialists sans Marxism

They're "FASCISTS!" Or contrariwise "antifa!"

All they want is to loot To pirate our intellectual property

They want to take society down Antivaxxers, what a bunch of loonies

Corruption is merely a perception The perception of corruption

"Bribery" is a bad term When some "contribute" and "support" and "Summer of Code"

Sure, he made a fortune For the genetically superior mind he is

Sure, she had connections But you connect the dots too much

Why not find a hobby? Here, there's this football match

Don't you like celebrities? Sure you have no social life

Corporations are really people Stop offending them, respect the brand at least

Anger leads to violence Verbal violence is now a thing

Freedom of thought ignites thinking So it's the free speech that's abominable

Mental wards we have aplenty To facilitate those in least need

The revolt of the rich Top-bottom class war certainly

So much to be angry about Big governments taxing those who have most... to lose

Firearms are bad, except... just join the army War brings in the money, for sellers, not receivers

Critics are only opportunists Unlike the profiteers

Sick in the head are sources of provocation For greed is not a sickness

Truth be said, the game may seem rigged Join the game, rig along, you too may enjoy the spoils

People have their voices We judge them by their salaries

And protests are unorganised chaos They interfere with corporate profits

Go back home, dear people Go and mind your own business, not businesses'

The strategies shall remain benign Language will be sanitised for your protection

Say the Truth, the Rest Will Follow
There's no guarantee that writing the truth will result in an audience (or readership), but over time - in the long run - people generally gravitate towards what they know or feel to be crude truth, not just what's comforting (albeit false or self-deluding, usually groupthink dictated from above)
