The Cost of Overselling and Falsely Marketing a Chatbot (Also: Billions in Losses or Budget Deficit at 'Open' HEY HI)

Ignore fictional "market caps"

Microsoft LinkedIn: LinkedIn Sells Off Silicon Valley Office as Falling Valuations Spread to Tech-Concentrated Hub

Summary: Microsoft is in trouble, but Microsoft-funded media won't say it like that

THE XBox problems [1] (many layoffs there, even an existential crisis!) have been mentioned in Daily Links already, as was the conflict between Microsoft and its de facto subsidiary, 'Open' HEY HI.

'Open' HEY HI now says something to the effect of, our chatbot actually sucks, don't trust Microsoft-bribed media [2-3]. For those who don't know, 'Open' HEY HI is actually losing billions of dollars (this information is out there; it's not a secret, only a little suppressed!). Then there are the antitrust obstacles [4], which are covered in the mainstream media [5-6]. So there are growing tensions with 'Open' HEY HI [7] and with the US government [8] which may have just doomed the ambitions of resurrecting the gaming business [9-12] by buying another company.

Tough year for Microsoft, layoffs aside.
