Summary: The farcical state of the Unified Patent Court (UPC) is still a source of humour and easy ridicule

ONE of dozens of examples is shown above… of writings from Team UPC (and their media outlets) asserting the UPC/A would be voted on by the end of October, just as two years ago they said the FCC would rule on the matter of a 2017 constitutional complaint by Christmas of 2018.

Team UPC is self-discrediting in a lot of ways. For 14 years or more they've been telling us UPC was just around the corner, sometimes even on video (on the record, literally).

“Team UPC is self-discrediting in a lot of ways.”With current lock-downs (even “lite” in Germany) we expect this to be another false prophecy from Team UPC and, if not, the vote will fall through and maybe there will be another constitutional complaint (there are numerous potential complainants).

This whole thing is embarrassing not just to Team UPC but also to German politics. It’s a big, bulging black eye. █
