Don't Forget to Also Follow Tux Machines
We've split the material
THREE months from now Tux Machines turns 20 and yesterday it passed the 20,000 milestone for pages created since its migration to its own system (after dumping Drupal). It was also a very busy day for the site with 55 new pages for that one day alone (the average is just over 30).
Tux Machines has a detailed historical record of many events from the past 2 decades. With a total of about 167,000 Drupal nodes (now static) and over 20,000 static pages since summer of 2022, we're looking at a total of nearly 200,000 pages, going back to the adoption of Drupal (migration to it) at the start of 2005 (the site also existed in 2004, prior to Drupal).
Techrights isn't as old as Tux Machines. Techrights started in 2006, so it is turning 18 this year. Together with partner [sic] sites, we're trying to send out important messages, typically suppressed (censored) messages.
Last year we repeatedly reminded Techrights readers (not just IRC "users") who follow the site for GNU/Linux and Free software news to also subscribe to Tux Machines or follow its very active RSS feed (it has a Gemini feed as well, corresponding to its Gemini capsule). Moments ago it had "Linux Foundation Working for Microsoft and for Bill Gates"; that's highly relevant to Techrights readers. █
