New Zealand's Adoption of GNU/Linux Only High If One Counts Chromebooks
Windows down from over 90% to 66% in 1.5 decades.
THE old wiki page about software patents in New Zealand (started 2010) continues to be accessed a lot, but it has not been updated for 6 years. A lot has happened in terms of GNU/Linux adoption there, especially if one counts Chromebooks as GNU/Linux, in which case this month's numbers from statCounter show it exceeding 5% (double the equivalent figure in Australia but still short of the UK at 7.5%).
English-speaking countries tend to be high in terms of adoption of ChromeOS probably because of the roots (Google) and anglophone marketing of Chromebooks. █
