Microsoft Is Rebranding Its 'Chatbot' Search for the Third Time Because It Fails to Gain Adoption
TODAY, or only a few hours ago, we saw that Microsoft is once again trying to rebrand; it always means that something has failed - not that they'll openly admit it. We'd rather not repeat the brands or link to them, but it's superficially obvious what's going on.
Looking at Africa, having taken Nigeria an example earlier today (Microsoft mass layoffs there; historically Microsoft bribed Nigerian officials to dump GNU/Linux, so only arrests - not layoffs - would be justice), since Microsoft started all this chatbot hype the market share of Bing fell from 3% to 2%, at least based on statCounter. █
