The Parasitic Nature of Microsoft Contracts
FOUR days ago we wrote about Microsoft feeding off (or at the expense) of national budget, tuition fees etc. while chewing up a lot of data, which is in turn shared with a foreign government. We said this was enabled not only by Microsoft employees but also employees who work for Microsoft while receiving their salary from another company (or institution). The basic concept is not hard to grasp.
We've since then received some feedback in IRC and E-mail. People generally agree that this is happening and the prognosis may be very negative.
At the moment Microsoft is appalling for more bailouts (taxpayers' money), even if it uses a different lexicon to disguise that it's truly after. Stop feeding the beast. Then, hopefully, it will go away faster. █
