Linus Torvalds Mocked "Cloud Native" in His Latest Talk (Arguing It's Just Hype), 'Linux' Foundation 'Research' (Marketing) Chooses Proprietary Software to Query Its Adopters
Oh, look! Linux.com is active again (they fired all the staff)!
Oh, it's just a link.
That goes to proprietary software in a third-party site. They could have chosen one of hundreds of Free software (or "Open Source") alternatives, but they did not.
THIS past spring Linus Torvalds openly mocked "Cloud Native" and yesterday the 'Linux' Foundation promoted this survey, which as expected uses proprietary tools.
They're actively promoting what Torvalds is mocking.
As we explained here before, 'Linux' Foundation 'Research' has nothing to with real research or with Linux. It's marketing people asking a bunch of questions and then using Adobe tools on a Mac (proprietary on proprietary) to make charts and write a few words.
The name "Linux" is overused, abused, even grossly misused. █
