GNU/Linux 'Market Share' Estimates Continue to Surge, Soon Measured at 5% by Rounding Up, 16% in India (Not Including Chromebooks)
OH, wow. Another day has passed. Yes, this happens again:
It climbed by about 0.5% in half a month or so. Is there a mega-exodus away from Windows? A large contributor to this change has been India, where 16% is about to be exceeded:
Looking at (and comparing) W3Schools, there still isn't any update (since March), but the numbers there are similar, with GNU/Linux peaking at 4.4% in July and August 2022 (it used to be higher in prior years, but it is a technical site for largely technical people).
It's quite revealing that Microsoft is trying to engulf GNU/Linux with E.E.E. and it has already recruited as share of moles in key projects and bought seats in the Linux Foundation, bought the staff of the OSI etc.
Talking about this infiltration is not a "CoC violation", even if Microsoft wants it to be. Meanwhile the Microsofters are committing crimes against us. They try to make it personal and intimidate perceived "enemies". █
