Let's Encrypt in a Freefall (in Gemini Protocol at Least)
THE Linux Foundation's Let's Encrypt is still in a freefall in Geminispace. That's a good thing. This morning Lupa saw only 52 capsules that still use Let's Encrypt even though the number of capsules (overall) still increases:
Less than a month ago we spoke about it falling below 100 (Let's Encrypt at under 100) and tomorrow we might already see it below 50.
Notice there are still over 4,000 capsule, so it wasn't some temporary fluke or mistake:
The Let's Encrypt sponsors are companies that want the entire Web controlled by their cartel of "trust"; it doesn't look like they'll manage to do the same to Gemini Protocol. █
