The 'Reformed Nazi' IBM Does Not Really Care About Diversity and People With Disabilities
HAVING just caught up with the Diversity room of Fedora for the first time in weeks, I see it's more or less dead (still) and very few people talk there.
The same is true for Accessibility. They're good at creating new rooms (in Matrix), but not at keeping them active. In 2023:
Starting things is easy! Keeping at them is... well, so much harder.
There's also this one for KDE. But over time they have made accessibility poorer. IBM does not truly care about people with disabilities.
Ryan said: "No quorum for the Fedora Accessibility WG meeting today."
Looking at the DEI room, it says "I suggest we skip the meeting for today and I will be able the chair the next one in 2 weeks..."
So even the Fedora DEI people are starting to stumble. █
