Ukraine Didn't Take Twitter/X Down, Microsoft or Windows Likely Did
Looking around Europe for some Web usage-derived statistics on operating systems, GNU/Linux is still steadily up, e.g. GNU/Linux rose to 3.5% in Austria, 3% in Czech Republic, and around 2% in Portugal. The average is around 4%.
When it comes to these statistics on operating systems, Ukraine is the "odd one". As an associate put it, there's "brief spike in Linux, then a trend of increased Windows, then DDoS origin" (see the "MElon says" puff pieces blaming "Ukraine", not Microsoft or Windows):
Google News: we just repeat what sites say when they repeat megalomaniacs and liars. That's "news".
There are many debunkings (to likely false accusations), but won't that just be another example of Windows TCO, exacerbated externally in the form of Windows botnets?
Windows is too expensive for the world to tolerate. It has deliberate back doors. Take Windows offline before it takes others offline. Also, the media should call out Windows. █
