IBM is proving to be insensitive and a corporate magnet of professional incompetence. Take/get a load of this:

They also mention Canada and software, just like early rumours say. There are details/comments on severance and other notable patterns.

Having just checked the Web, including Google News, not a single English-speaking site covers the news about the layoffs. As if this never happened!

As somebody put it a few hours ago: "Best way to know when layoffs are imminent at IBM is to check the month that you're in. If it's a month with a vowel in the name, layoffs are imminent."

Will anyone in the mainstream media report on it? █
