Intercontinental Brigading - Part XIV - Six Years of Learning Irish, But the Real Issue Was Microsoft-controlled 'Secure' (Restricted) Boot

"...forced to admit"

I was forced to admit

Such a strange phrasing. Anyway, a distraction from the real issue.

'Fuck you vigorously with a chainsaw. Your continual whining and conspiracy theories have done more to encourage me to stab people to death than anyone else in recent history.' -Matthew Garrett

In the previous part and in my personal blog I said that we had sent some papers required by the Court. Things are progressing and we must be patient. In the meantime, however, it is important to illuminate where we are and how we got here.

In 2012 I began criticising companies that were promoting a Microsoft-controlled Linux 'booting sequence' (at a level below the operating system or preceding it). I explained the legal and technical details in many polite and dare I say informative articles. It was Garrett who tried to make it more personal (shooting the messenger as he had habitually done). I merely responded to what he wrote not just to me - in my blog's comments - but about me (ad hominem). People can check and see that, as a matter of routine, I was courteous about it throughout. Garrett, in my recollection, was not. Days ago he began a weird conversation saying things about my penis and about his dad uttering things about my penis. Unlike Garrett, I'm not going to involve relatives (family members) or badmouth them (even dox them). He does not behave or talk like a grown-up. Some individuals never reach physical and/or mental maturity.

In 2021 the SLAPPs began (almost same time Graveley got arrested and their GNOME mate lost his job as GitHub's CEO). These are simple statements of fact. These are not speculations.

Garrett has already spent untold amounts of money on lawfare. This year alone he spends well over $150,000 trying to convince the state to put my wife in prison after she had been abused online (the subject of this ongoing series). The judge in charge of media matters in the UK already acknowledged - in her judgement - that my wife had been abused online. She saw evidence of it.

Any person who still believes that what Garrett does is reasonable and proportional (to my attempts to curb online abuse) needs to have his or her head examined.

In the next few days we'll resume coverage of attempts to swat my wife and I. In more recent days we focused on the root cause - my criticism of back doors in Linux. Had I not opposed back doors in Linux, none of this would come about. █
