In Argentina Firefox is Measured at Only 1%, Google Chrome (Proprietary) at About 90%
And it has long been that way (about 7 years already):

When I was a lot younger we used the term "open Web" and the term Internet wasn't interchangeable with "the Web". Now, however, "the Web" is - especially in some places - interchangeable with Google Chrome or clones of Chrome.
See, in Argentina it would seem (based on statCounter) like almost 95% of Web users are relying on the same rendering engine and coming soon will be "attestation" (worse than just proprietary software). Google has been pushing for it and monoculture will make adoption of it as simple as "adding it".
The "open Web" vision sounded nice at one point, but we've come to the point where "open Web" is merely a fantasy, not a reality. █
