Verified Accounts of Microsoft Offering 'Retirement' (Layoffs) to People in Their 40s, Over Two Decades Earlier Than Retirement Age
Last month we showed that Microsoft's "buyout" offer is nothing short of an insult because the "offer" (that you cannot refuse; if you do, they'll punish you later and it's a "one-time offer" or "limited-time only offer") is targeting people in their 40s.
Now we have an actual person with an actual name - rather than some anonymous commentators blowing the whistle - who speaks about what it's like:

Hey, it's not like the "job market" is ripe for "a new chapter". In the past 3 days we saw two mainstream media article about women from Microsoft who lost their job and could not find a job anywhere else. One of them openly said that she had burned out (sunken into depression).
Microsoft offers job security to nobody. It's not even about performance, it's about age (or "cost" as well as location; they cheapen the labour). █
