Karen Melchior Fought the Good Fight

We are about to resume a long series that we paused before travelling to London two weeks ago. Part 28 was published 13 days ago. The next part will mention MEP Melchior, whom I spoke to in the past and wrote about several times, e.g. in:

You need not be a Dane to deem Melchior a friendly politician (or former politician with lingering connections) as an EPO worker. She can be contacted online. We've long respected her work in the European Parliament and when she did not understand something we tried to correct her.

Sometimes she writes about "Open Source". Google's slop describes me as "a well-known open-source software activist and blogger based in the UK," but I am not a "open-source software activist", I campaign for Free software. Telling politicians the difference can help.
