Reader’s Article: Bing Against Google
Summary: Microsoft imitates, not innovates, using Linux
I‘VE written a little blog article [via] to show how similar the Bing interface is to Google interface. Seems to me that Microsoft is trying to snatch market share by mimicking Google’s interface, despite their claims that they are building a new search engine from the ground up.
I see nothing from the ground up, but instead I am seeing snippets of similarities here and there. Even the placement of the wordings, the flow of the page, the design looks similar. The created screenshots are to show proof that Microsoft is not really innovating. █

I hate M$, but it’s a little silly to say “is trying to snatch market share by mimicking Google’s interface.” M$ major game in all things computer is to play to what the user is used to. Of course, it’s interface will look somewhat like Google’s!

Yes, Google was not the first either.
A lot of people think Microsoft invented the GUI, the word processor, the Web browser, etc.
Prevalence is deceiving.
