Secret IBM Layoffs and Increase in PIPs (Silent Layoffs)

Hours ago:
Red Hat is rapidly shrinking, but nobody talks about this.
Media silence.
Several other companies acquired by IBM felt the 'bluewashing' bloodbaths.
Again no word in the media. None.
Recently, IBM got rid of many of its "quantum" people.
The media helped whitewash/frame this as a spinoff.
Two years ago I challenged The Register MS about its IBM spin, pointing out that IBM was paying it.
The Editor then got in touch and did not deny this.
This is a profound problem.
It impacts many publishers, not only one.
From what we can gather, many at IBM are losing the job.
The media is failing to do its job. █
